Gary W. Sherwold began his career in the financial industry at an affiliate branch of the Bank of Tokyo based in Southern California. During this time he began to recognize the individual financial needs of his clients. Mr. Sherwold then made the transition to securities firms where he was able to provide greater service and products to meet his clients' changing needs. However, the internal structure of a security firm restricted his ability to satisfy all of his clients' financial needs.
