| William "Blackie" Blackstock founded Blackies By The Sea in 1953. In 1961, Blackie sold the business to Joe Walker who owned the bar for a period of three years. Joe sold the bar to Chuck Frei in 1964 who remains owner to this day. Chuck is also knows as "The King" Les Bobbitt came to Blackies in 1975 and is acting Secretary/Teasurer and manager for the bar. Blackies obtained it's liquor license in 1998. Blackies By The Sea incorporated in 1973. |
